OopsSend is a small, fun app made for entertainment. Please read this carefully — by using the app, you agree to everything below.
1. For entertainment only
OopsSend exists purely for entertainment. It is a joke / party app built to surprise your friends with a random message. It is not a serious communication tool, not a productivity app, and not something you should rely on for anything important.
2. No liability
We accept absolutely no responsibility for what you send, who you send it to, or how that person reacts. Awkward conversations, broken hearts, lost friendships, jealous partners, 3 AM replies from your boss, accidental confessions — all on you. By tapping send, you take full responsibility for the message and its consequences.
3. Your data stays on your device
We run no servers. We have no account system. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, share, or analyze your contacts, messages, or any personal information. Everything happens locally on your phone.
4. Contacts access
We ask for permission to read your contacts solely so the app can pick one at random when you tap the button. The list never leaves your device. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Messages
When you send a message, OopsSend simply opens your chosen messaging app (WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, or Messages) and pre-fills the text. You still have to tap Send yourself in that app. We never see your message.
6. Third-party apps
OopsSend hands off to third-party messaging apps. Once that happens, those apps' privacy policies and terms apply. We are not affiliated with WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, or Apple Messages.
7. Advertising & subscriptions
OopsSend shows ads via Google AdMob in the free version. AdMob may process limited, non-identifying data to serve ads — you can review Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. A paid OopsSend+ subscription removes all ads and is handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit — we never see your payment details.
8. Children
OopsSend is not intended for children under 13.
9. Changes
If we update this policy, the new version will appear here and inside the app. Continued use of OopsSend after an update means you accept the new policy.
